Our goal as Circle K is to create an environment that allows our members to grow individually and as a group in order to become better citizens and leaders. We hope to create the change we want to see in the world by starting with ourselves and doing our part. One of the main ways we do this is through giving and service.
CKI operates under the philosophy of making the world and your community better through community service. As such, there are plenty of service events to attend, meaning CKI is great if you want volunteer hours for any purpose.
Through our support from Kiwanis International, CKI members are given thousands of dollars in scholarships each year. CKI also recognizes countless members around the world for outstanding feats of service, which can look great for a resume!
Kiwanis clubs are filled with people from lots of different careers and fields, maybe even something you wish to pursue after college! CKI is a great way to meet these Kiwanis members and open new doors that may set you up for success later in life!
Volunteering can help instill values of selflessness, responsibility, and awareness of the local and broader world, all of which are valuable mindsets and skills to have no matter where you go.
