About Us
Stan State Serves brings together university offices to serve as a central hub for community service and engagement opportunities. Through collaboration among Community-Engaged Learning, Community Engagement Belonging, and community partners, Stan State Serves connects students, faculty, staff, and community organizations in service that strengthens communities and supports academic learning. We seek to make community engagement accessible, coordinated, and sustainable while helping students apply classroom knowledge, develop civic responsibility, build relationships across communities, and understand their role as engaged members of society.
Vision: Service Learning is a high-impact practice at California State University, Stanislaus, and seeks to be a program of distinction by providing faculty, students, and community partners with the opportunities and tools necessary to provide exemplary experiential, multicultural education that bridges academics with responsible community engagement.
