Transition Programs serve as an extension to New Student Orientation through offering programs designed to help students with their transition into the university throughout their first year. These programs include workshops, a peer-to-peer Buddy Program, Parent & Family weekend, and monthly newsletters.
The first year at a university can be challenging! Everything is different and new. The Transitions Programs are designed to be a helping hand to new students in their first year at Stan State. You'll be part of a small group of other new students, and you'll be paired with a more experienced "Buddy" student who has been trained to help you find the resources you need and navigate the Warrior experience successfully.
