What is Warrior Life?
Warrior Life is a new platform for students that is home to many campus departments and resources, ways to get involved, virtual events like NSO, and the Housing community group. It is replacing a former platform called Warrior Connect.
Think of it as a mix of Facebook, LinkedIn, and the Stan State website: you can build your student profile, make connections with other students and staff, post in forums, AND you can also view and RSVP for events across campus, learn about campus organizations and groups, and much more!
To login to Warrior Life, visit warriorlife.csustan.edu/login_only. Your login information will be your Stan State credentials. Take a look around!
We will be posting more information about this new platform as well as how-to videos in each Verve and on our social media channels. Be sure to follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook!
Housekeeping
Do not flush wipes (even the flushable kind), feminine products, etc down the toilet. It's also a good idea to clean any hair out of your shower or sink after every use to help prevent build-up that could lead to a clog!
Let's Talk Trash
There are three dumpsters and one recycling location for residents to dispose of their trash and recycling.
Behind the Village Cafe (dumpster)
By resident mailboxes/housing office (dumpster)
Near Village 3 parking lot (dumpster)
Village 2 green recycling cage (recycling)
Use these dumpsters and the recycling chute to dispose of your unit's trash and recycling - do not use the trash bins inside the community.

Managing Your Stress
Hey Warriors! HEP here with another message on how to maintain and/or improve your overall health. This edition we’re focusing on stress management.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), stress is a condition that is often characterized by symptoms of physical or emotional tension. It is a reaction to a situation where a person feels threatened or anxious.
Although we can’t eliminate our stressors, we can successfully manage them in a healthy way. Here are some tips for taking care of yourself:
Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. A proper diet can counterbalance the impact of stress by strengthening your immune system and stabilizing your mood.
Exercise regularly. Exercise is effective at reducing fatigue and enhancing your overall cognitive function.
Get plenty of sleep. Sleep allows our brains to recharge and our bodies to rest.
Give yourself a break if you feel stressed out – for example, treat yourself to a therapeutic massage.
Maintain a normal routine.
