About Us

The mission of the Stanislaus State chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is to unify students within Stanislaus State University in solidarity with over two hundred Palestine solidarity organizations across North America. Grounded in principles of freedom, solidarity, equality, safety, and historical justice, we strive to elevate the student movement for Palestinian liberation through political engagement. Our goal is to foster a connected and disciplined movement equipped with the tools necessary to advocate effectively for Palestinian rights, aligned with the mission of the National Students for Justice in Palestine.

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Stanislaus State University is dedicated to cultivating collaboration across majors in both graduate and undergraduate level through monthly social events and public meetings. SJP at Stanislaus State organization engages students in community actions advocating for justice in Palestine, offers educational opportunities such as workshops and seminars on Palestinian history and culture, and develops leadership and advocacy skills. Members connect with a supportive community passionate about Palestinian solidarity, expand their networks nationally, access resources, and collaborate with SJP chapters nationwide to raise awareness and support for Palestinian rights.
