Student Organizations are mandated by the California State University Executive Order 1068 (CSU EO 1068) to complete the registration process every academic year (Academic years run from August – June) in order to be Recognized Student Organization and to be granted the privileges of a registered student organization.
The Student Organization Re-Registration process takes place from May 1st – August 31st. Organizations are expected to complete all three steps before August 31, 2022 to be recognized for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
RE-REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
- WarriorLife Organization Re-Registration Form
- Log into WarriorLife. Search your groups name. Click on blue "Group Re-Registration" button.
- The President must initiate the Re-Registration process. The President will be the primary contact for the registration process and should also hold the position for the upcoming academic year.
- Note: If the registration process is completed by anyone other than the President, the form will be denied.ÔÇï
- Application opens May 1st. Last day to submit is June 30th.
- RSO Officer Training (For President, Treasurer and Student Event Coordniator)
- An email will be sent to all officers (President, Treasurer, Student Event Coordinator) to notify them that their trainings are available through their WarriorLife checklist.
- Trainings begin July 1st and must be completed by August 31st.
- ASI Administrative Account Agreement (President, Treasurer and Advisor Signatures needed)
- Maria Marquez, Interim ASI Student Government Assistant, will email the ASI Administrative Account Agreement to president, treasurer, and advisor for e-signatures.
- This is the last Step in the Re-registration process and must not be submitted until Step 1-2 have been completed.
RE-REGISTRATION WINDOW
- Opens May 1st
- Closes June 30th
All Student Organizations will be frozen beginning June 1st until they complete the Re-Registration Process for the next academic year. Frozen Student Organizations are not able to benefit from the privileges of being a Recognized Student Organization (i.e. room reservations, participation in booth lottery, etc.).
