We are excited to invite you to the in-person Spring 2025 UndocuAlly Training at Stanislaus State, scheduled for February 20, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM! This training is an excellent opportunity for staff, faculty, and academic advisors to learn how to effectively support undocumented students and their families through allyship.
Developed in collaboration with various campus offices and community members, the training will cover:
The history, recent laws, and policies impacting undocumented youth and their families
The lived experiences of undocumented students on campus and in the wider community
Understanding the role of an UndocuAlly and ways to provide better support
Best practices for engaging with undocumented students and their families
