Details

This is an mandatory training for all members of the fraternity/sorority life community. Leaders and members will learn how to lead within their own organizations, maintain and enhance engagement within membership, and create a sense of belonging within the community.

Julie is a Stanislaus State Alumna who graduated with an Social Sciences degree and was an involved member with Phi Sigma Sigma, College Panhellenic Association, Faculty Mentor Program, Student Leadership and Development (SLD), and New Student Orientation as a student at Stanislaus State. In her professional role as the Coordinator for Student Organizations and Fraternity/Sorority Life, she is responsible for working with SLD professional staff and interns, overseeing and advising all recognized student organizations and the implementation of student leadership and engagement events and programs for all students choosing to get involved on campus.

Dr. Dunn Carlton joined CSU, Stanislaus in April 2021. She has worked in higher education for over thirty years at institutions throughout Northern California, including UC Berkeley, Stanford, Sacramento State, and University of the Pacific. Dr. Dunn Carlton currently oversees Basic Needs, Counseling and Psychological Services, Housing and Residential Life, Student Conduct, Student Health Services, Student Leadership & Involvement, the Student Recreation Center, and the Warrior Cross Cultural Center. She also serves on both the ASI and Student Center Board of Directors. Dr. Dunn Carlton is a native of the Central Valley, having grown up in Visalia. She is also the mother of two college students.
