Talking about sex is hard. Talking about sexual violence is even harder. With 20% of college-age women and 6% of college-age men being survivors of sexual assault, we all need to get more comfortable confidently discussing sex. This conversation isn’t meant to make you comfortable- It’s meant to make you better! Get ready to laugh, cry, and walk away with new knowledge to end sexual violence and change the damn world!

Bonny Shade has some major goals: end campus based sexual

violence, empower students, and build better communities. As a

professional speaker she speaks to over 10,000 students annually

and provides audiences with real, tangible, and interesting tactics

they can use to understand the big picture and impact their

communities.



Get ready to laugh, maybe cry, and learn something new.

When she is not speaking to college students, she is enjoying her

role as the Associate Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life at

UNC Charlotte and loves spending time with her family dancing

to some of her favorite songs and being a self-proclaimed foodie.



She believes that everyone has a powerful story and is using her

story to educate and empower others. It's time to have some

honest conversation, and that conversation starts right now.
