Hello Everyone!

Happy Friday to you all! My name is Jelaine Esguerra and I am this year's NAMI President! It was great meeting you all on Wednesday at the Student Org Fair! 

I apologize for not sending this email earlier as promised. Difficulties sending this email arose, but that aside, thank you to those who visited our NAMI Booth. This year's Student Org Fair and first meeting was a success. The officers and I hope to see you all in future meetings!

As mentioned during the Fair, if you are receiving this email, you are either a current member or have filled out our NAMI Membership Interest form! 

What is NAMI? 

NAMI On Campus Clubs are student-led clubs that tackle mental health issues at (within California) and on college campuses by raising mental health awareness, educating the community, supporting students, promoting services, and advocating for more support.

These clubs are open to all students, whether they live with a mental health condition, are a family member or friend, or have a general interest in mental health. NAMI on Campus clubs aim to address the mental health needs of all students so they have positive, successful and fun college experiences.

Applications
NAMI Vice President Applications will extend it's deadline to Sunday, September 15th @5pm. The voting form will be posted shortly after with all eligible candidates. 
Out of the Darkness Walk
This event will take place off-campus on Saturday, September 28th @10am. NAMI will be out tabling. More information will be sent out via NAMI Weekly (an email sent to you every Monday) as the date arrives closer.
