Hey Warrior,
We know college isn’t always easy. Between new classes, balancing priorities, and figuring out your next steps, it can feel like a lot. And the truth is, male-identifying students across the country often graduate at lower rates than their peers. That’s why the Male Success Initiative (MSI) was created as a statewide effort and brought to Stan State through Student Leadership, Engagement, and Belonging (SLEB).
MSI is here to support you. It’s not a club or fraternity, it’s a space designed for mentorship, community, and growth. For many of us, MSI has been the place where we could check in with a mentor, ask questions, or just know someone was in our corner. Especially for first-generation students, having someone to listen and guide you makes all the difference.
Our work is guided by our Pillars of Success:
✨ Mentoring – connecting students with mentors and networks of support
✨ Achievement – closing gaps in retention and graduation through tailored services
✨ Leadership Development – creating opportunities to build confidence and skills
✨ Empowerment – encouraging self-reflection, healing, and authentic growth
Now we want you to see what MSI is all about at our first big event of the year:
MSI Empowerment Kick-Off

📅 Thursday, September 26
⏰ 12–2 PM
