In this workshop, students will focus on the essential step of preparing 3D models for printing: slicing. Participants will learn how slicing software translates digital designs into printer-ready instructions, how to adjust settings like layer height and infill, and how these choices affect the strength, quality, and print time of an object. By the end, you’ll have a solid foundation in slicing and be ready to confidently prepare your own files for 3D printing.
Please be respectful of other’s time! You, your fellow students, and our student assistants all have busy schedules. To ensure that our workshops begin and end in a timely manner, students that arrive over 15 minutes late will not be permitted to join the workshop.
