Greetings, Warriors!
Welcome back to campus! We hope you had a wonderful, restful, festive holiday season. Now, it's time to start that final drive to the end of the year! Spring Break will be here before you know it, and then Commencement.
In case you didn't know, DRS offers both online and in-person services. Our new location is Library 150, and our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. As is our standard practice, DRS does not offer walk-in appointments to see advisors. We only see students by scheduled appointments, which can be via Zoom, telephone, or in person.
Accommodation Letter Requests
If you haven't submitted your accommodation letter request for Spring Semester, please do so. You can use the online form. Remember, you must submit a request every semester you would like to receive accommodations. Please contact the office or your Disability Advisor if you have any questions.
Testing Accommodations
Some of you with testing accommodations may have already tested with us. If you haven't but plan on testing with us, please don't delay. Because space is limited, please make sure you complete an out-of-class test request as soon as possible. Testing space is first-come, first-serve. You can use our Online Test Request form to go paperless. Don't forget DRS uses testing blocks, so our exam start times are 8:15 am, 10:45 am, 1:15 pm, or 3:30 pm during the regular semester. Please contact us if you have difficulty finding the start time that works best for you or if your professor wants you to test at a specific time.
Please remember that when testing with us, you still have the same responsibility to maintain your tests' confidentiality as you would if you were taking it in class. If you are taking your test ahead of the rest of your class, you are not permitted to disclose information about the test to them. Doing so violates the Student Code of Conduct and will be turned over to the Student Conduct Office for investigation.
Alt Media Requests
If you need to submit your alt-media requests, please do so. You can download and print a copy of the PDF or Microsoft Word Forms. You may have to wait for your materials, so please submit your request now. If you have questions about materials, contact the Alt Media Coordinator, Erin Foster (efoster2@csustan.edu)
As always, you can follow us on Warrior Life, Instagram, and Spotify (yes, Spotify!) by looking for @StanStateDRS.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We're excited to see you again!
Be well, Warriors!
Best,
Marvin
