Tuesday - Supporting Black Survivors Workshop | April 21st | L201 | 3PM
This professional development workshop helps faculty and staff create a campus where Black students feel seen, supported, and safe. Participants will explore how racism, cultural stigma, and systemic inequities shape experiences of sexual violence and affect disclosure and healing for Black students. Through discussion and case scenarios, attendees will learn culturally responsive ways to support students, avoid common missteps, and connect them to appropriate resources.
Wednesday - Blictory Wednesday | April 22nd | Quad and Peace Pole Lawn | 11AM-1PM
Blictory Wednesday celebrates the achievements and successes of our Black Student population, while inviting the campus community to share affirmations to encourage their journey towards success and fulfillment.

Black Student Success Day at Stanislaus State is designed to inform, inspire, and prepare students by connecting them with valuable resources, community, and opportunities. The event supports students in building confidence and readiness for success in college and beyond.
